An unexpected phone call paved the way for pioneering research In 1979, when sitting in his office, Prof Bengt Kasemo, got a phone call from a person he didn’t know. Bengt Kasemo, professor i fysik vid Chalmers tekniska högskola i Göteborg, har under senare tid argumenterat för att Sverige ska utforma en nationell strategi på nanoområdet.
